MIX97 Morning with Sean & Mariam
Every Wednesday morning @7:40 tune into Mix 97 to hear Dr Julie Gowthorpe, RSW on a new topic of the week.
Hi! My name is Victoria Di Caro, but everyone calls me Vic! I grew up in Guelph, ON and swam competitively for 12 years and competed at the national level. I graduated from UofG In 2020 with my Bachelor’s of Science, majoring in Neuroscience, and was on the varsity swim team for 4 years and lacrosse team for 2 years. After that I went to Western University and competed on the track and field team for 2 years while I completed my masters degree in sport psychology. Currently I work for the Canadian Olympic Committee as a Games Coordinator, I lead and manage a lot of the details that go into having Team Canada compete at the Olympic and Pan American Games. I’m also currently working on completing my CMPC (Certified mental performance consultant) licensing, practicing as a CMPC apprentice. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with the women’s basketball team and rowing team at the University of Guelph, where I offer group and individual mental performance sessions tailored to the specific needs of each athlete, coach, and team.
